This class of risk
includes personal watercraft rentals such as jet skis, sport &
pleasure boat rentals, boat clubs, fishing charters, and large pleasure boat
& houseboat
rentals/charters.
 
Rental &
Charter package coverage can be defined as Protection and
Indemnity (liability afloat) in combination
with Hull insurance for vessels. Coverage is subject to
a deductible for both liability and hull physical damage. Liability exposure is of more
concern to underwriters than loss or damage to the hull. Serving of
food & alcoholic beverages is a particular hazard for
charter vessels.
